The 5th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition 2010 is a prestigious international competition which attracts Wushu players from around the world. It is held annually in Hong Kong to promote and spread Chinese Wushu, which comprises of many different kinds of taolu (including different kinds of quanshu, weapons in single, pair, confrontation and group routine series), confrontation and wrestling event, Wushu gongfa and health gongfa. It is a great learning experience for the pupils to witness the skills of other Wushu participants from different countries during the competition and further hone their Wushu skills.
Since 2005, with the inception of Wushu as a school CCA, the Wushu School Team has clinched top positions in the Junior Boys and Senior Girls Divisions in the annual National Inter-School Wushu Championships. This year, the pupils have been invited to participate in this prestigious 5th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition 2010 and it will be an important milestone in the pupils' CCA development over their years in the school.

Venue: Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre, Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong
Duration: 22 August to 25 August 2010
The 3 girls and 3 boys from the school Wushu team have made the school proud of them as they have clinched 14 gold medals in all 14 events and 1 best group participation trophy. Keep up the good work!
